Did you know that one of the main forms of transmitting viruses or infections is through contact? We tend to forget that, but that is why it is so important to wash your hands, not just often, but in a proper way.

Did you know that one of the main forms of transmitting viruses or infections is through contact? We tend to forget that, but that is why it is so important to wash your hands, not just often, but in a proper way.

The viruses are a form of protein with a shell made out of grease. Both soap and hand sanitizer are effective in breaking down that grease. By doing that they neutralize the virus and kill it.

We are going to show you the 10 steps you should follow in order to clean your hands correctly. First of all, you should remove the jewelry you may wear on your wrists or fingers.

Step 1: Apply a palmful of soap to your hand

Step 2: Rub palms together

Step 3: You can now rub palm over palm cleaning the top of the hands and back of the hands

Step 4: It is time now to rub your palms together and fingers interlaced to clean between the fingers correctly

Step 5: Back of the fingers. Take both hands and clasp them together and rub your fingers between

Step 6: Clasp your thumb with the opposite hand and rub rotationally to clean the thumb. Change hands

Step 7:  Take fingertips into the palm of the hand and scrub rotationally

Step 8: People often tend to forget that step; it is now time to rub the wrists

Step 9: Rinse off the soap using warm water

Step 10: Thoroughly dry your hands making sure you get rid of all the moisture between all your fingers, wrists, back and palms of your hands
